The Opportunity
As a Virtual Nurse Practitioner, you’ll collaborate with virtual physicians using Teladoc’s virtual platform to support unattached patients in their own communities and provide clinical quality care while adding capacity to existing systems. You will play a key role in managing primary care consults and supporting patients across the continuum of care, specifically:
Assess, diagnose, and treat patients triaged to Teladoc’s virtual care platforms through consultations
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and receive/provide handovers from/to other medical teams
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, allied health, and management teams
Support patients and team members by coordinating ongoing care and contributing to a relationship-based, patient-first culture
Escalate cases to shift leaders or medical leadership when needed
Shifts typically fall on Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm EST
What You’ll Need
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a practice setting
Current and unrestricted registration as an All Ages/Family/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
Eligible and willing to license in Newfoundland and Labrador
Demonstrated success working with diverse primary care clinical team
The ability to manage multiple applications and monitors simultaneously
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Office applications
Experience working in the digital health sector preferred
