Dr. Khayat is VP of Client Success & Growth, responsible for strategic oversight of both the commercial and hospital and health system enterprises at Teladoc Health Canada. She is a well-known future strategist and a sought-after speaker with a prestigious and impactful career in Canadian healthcare.

Prior to her current role, Dr. Khayat led the Futures team at SE Health, one of Canada's largest social enterprises, and led health systems innovation with MaRS Discovery District, a renowned innovation hub in Toronto. In 2017, she was seconded for a year to lead initiatives at the REshape Health Innovation Centre at Radboud University in the Netherlands. Earlier in her career, Dr. Khayat was an associate partner with SECOR Consulting/KPMG Canada, and a Principal with the Toronto office of The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a global management consulting firm.

Dr. Khayat's academic appointments include her current position as adjunct faculty member teaching a health MBA course at the Rotman School of Management at University of Toronto, and a position at the Faculty of Singularity University in California (Exponential Medicine). She has also taught at the International Centre for Health Innovation at the Ivey School of Business at Western University. Dr. Khayat earned her Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Toronto in partnership with the Hospital for Sick Children, and an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Windsor where she was awarded the President's Medal and the Governor's Medal for top all around graduate from the University in 1996.

Dr. Khayat is fluent in French and Arabic with a conversational knowledge of Dutch. She is based out of Toronto where she lives with her husband and 3 children.
